Bravo to St Oliver's Scout Group Drogheda, 3rd/4th/6th Louth and St. Patrick's Scout Group 1st/2nd/5th Louth 1st Louth Scouts on completing half of their Better Together Badge recently!🤩

Hosted at Collon Campsite by St. Oliver’s, the scouts spent the weekend hiking, hammocking, orienteering, cooking on open fires and, most importantly, building new friendships through scouting🏕️🧭

A great example of the Better Together initiative in action! 🤝🌲

This evening Buíon Setanta Scout Group Dundalk - 5th Louth beavers invited 8th Louth Slieve Foy beavers to Ravensdale Forest as they worked together on their Better Together Badge! 🦫🤝

The Beavers enjoyed shelter building, enjoyed some backwoods cooked hot dogs, and lots of fun while making new friendships along the way🏕️

A special bravo to 8th Louth Beavers on being the 1st section in the county on completing the full Better Together Badge set - fantastic achievement! 👏

Congratulations to Ventures from on winning the 2026 Louth Scout County Urban Challenge in Belfast! 🌍🧭

And a huge well done to 2nd Louth Cubs for taking home the title at the 2026 County Cub Challenge🐺👏

Awards were presented at County Camp last weekend - a brilliant celebration of teamwork, adventure, and Scout spirit! 💚⚜️

What a weekend at our Louth County Camp in Crawfordsburn 🏕️🌍

It was fantastic to see Scout groups from across the county come together, share experiences, and create lasting memories😊🥾

We can confirm the Scouting Ireland Uniform Police have now been deployed to Louth 👀🚨

Group Leaders, expect an email shortly to schedule inspections…
…or don’t expect one at all. Surprise visits build character 😌

Introducing the new Scouting Ireland Uniform Police 🚨

From today, our uniform enforcement team will be taking action nationwide. Their aim is to uphold the highest standards of uniform excellence across all sections. Whether at meetings, camps, or hikes; no detail is too small.

They will be on the lookout for:
- Incorrect badge placement
- Untucked shirts
- Badges sewn more than 3mm out of designated positions
- Neckerchiefs that are… tied
- White runners
- Chewed ends on neckerchief
- Crocs
- Woggles doubling as hair scrunchies

What to expect:
•On-the-spot inspections will be carried out
•Measuring tape will be used
•Reports may be filed

Repeat offenders may be required to attend Uniform Re-Education Workshops
