We’re delighted to share that the Bruff Boys National School, Grange National School and St. Patrick’s Monastery Bruff Roll Books are now available to view online.

📚 The records cover an incredible period from 1913 to 2001, providing a fascinating glimpse into the school lives and communities of Bruff across generations.

Whether you’re researching your family history, looking for a former schoolmate, or simply interested in Bruff’s local heritage, these records are a wonderful resource.

We will in the future make it easier to find a name as we make the system easier. The names when Ireland became independent from the UK were written in Irish.

Bruff Heritage Archives

We are delighted to announce the ongoing digitisation of important local historical records, which will be available to view on the Bruff Heritage website.

The Dawn Parish Magazine — Issues 1 to 10, covering the period 1974–2000, will be made available digitally. The first three issues are already available to view on the website.

In addition, a valuable collection of school Roll Books and Register Books will be added over the coming weeks. These records include material from:

* Grange National School
* St. Patrick’s Monastery, Bruff
* Bruff Boys Primary School
* Register Books Bruff Boys and Girls.

The records date from 1913 to 2001 and provide a fascinating insight into the people, families, schools and community of Bruff and the surrounding area over many decades.

We hope these digitised archives will be a valuable resource for local historians, genealogists, former pupils, families and anyone with an interest in Bruff’s heritage.

Keep an eye on the Bruff Heritage website as more material is added in the coming weeks.
