Tá diúlaigh an dainséir, máistrí na tubaiste, na deartháireacha iontacha Fanzini ar ais lena seó nua, Risky Business. Seó dochreidte é, atá lán de chontúirt, cabáistí, cleasa móra agus rothair bheaga.
Lán le greann fisiceach, le hamaidí a rachaidh i dtreise agus le ruaille buaille a thiocfaidh ón lucht féachana, is léiriú an-ghreannmhar é Risky Business ar an choimhlint idir an tsiamsaíocht dhainséarach agus an rialáil gan staonadh.

The denizens of danger, the masters of disaster, the amazing Fanzini brothers are back with their new show Risky Business, a stupefying spectacle full of danger, cabbages, big stunts and tiny bicycles.
Packed with physical comedy, escalating nonsense, and audience fuelled mayhem, risky business is a hilarious tug-of-war between reckless showmanship and relentless regulation.

An intimate, darkly comic essay-performance that reflects on the meanings and functions of fire in life and art. Moving between childhood experiments with homemade fireworks, family and national history and the author’s novel Deep Burn, Brendan Mac Evilly traces a lifelong fascination with flame. At its centre sits an elusive story about the burning of an inherited uniform—a moment that hovers between memory and invention—asking why we are drawn to fire and what can it transform?

Combining live reading, projected media, sound and ceramics, the piece considers fire as a force of attraction, creation, remembrance and release.

This generative workshop will explore the canonical and the contemporary Irish lyric poem; where have we found ourselves in the wake of greats like Yeats and Heaney? And contemporary wonders like Flynn, Morrissey and Bryce?

How do we feel about the ghosts of influence in our work, and what might we do when we call their name within our own poems? What are contemporary Irish poets thinking and writing about? With attention to recently published poems, through a blend of reading, and then writing new poems, we will think about what it means to write a poem in this place, in this strange time.

Mícheál McCann is a poet, editor, and poetry critic from Derry City. His poetry is published by The Gallery Press, and his second collection of poems – Lives of the Saints – is forthcoming in 2026. He has published pamphlets of poems with Green Bottle Press in 2020 and Fourteen Publishing in 2022, and a collaborative art book with Kerri ní Dochartaigh and Skein Press in 2022 also. His first collection with Gallery, Devotion, was longlisted for the Forward Prizes for Poetry 2024, and was listed as a book of the year by The Irish Times and RTÉ. He is a poetry critic for The Irish Times, and lives and works in Belfast.
