Is your loved one living with dementia at risk of going out alone and becoming lost?

A national initiative has been adopted from the UK to help when people living with dementia in Ireland go missing: The Herbert Protocol.
If you have a relative living with dementia, please complete a Herbert Protocol form and share it with family members- it saves time if your loved one goes missing, allowing the Gardaí to begin searching more quickly and in the most likely locations.

Another great Memory Café gathering in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh today. Special thanks to Aodán and Val of Glendalough Visitor Centre for exploring two historic paintings of Glendalough with us all. Thanks also to everyone who attended, locals, new visitors and our friends from Sunbeam House Services. It was an engaging session which sparked memories & gave us all a deeper appreciation of the artworks and reminded us of the beauty of this valley.
