Another successful day out for Burrenbeo Conservation Volunteers at Bernard Carey’s tree nursery! Volunteers helped care for saplings grown from seeds collected under licence during BCV outings in the Burren over previous years.

An impressive 1,000 Burren pine and 250 Crab apple saplings were transferred into larger pots! These will eventually be distributed through Burrenbeo’s Hare’s Corner programme and Burren Pine Project nursery sites across the Burren, supporting our local biodiversity and restoration efforts.

Would you like to take part in hands-on conservation action while meeting new friends and enjoying the outdoors? Join our volunteer group! Find more info on our website (www.burrenbeo.com/bcv) or contact [email protected].
