Over the past 5 weeks, our volunteers have been busy training for a particular training simulation exercise. Each week a different training scenario was conducted which combined into one night, tonight in Nowlan Park. The training stimulation was based around some of the many incidents that we may encounter while on duty.

This was an amazing training exercise involving volunteers Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Kilkenny Unit alongside a number of doctors and physios that are involved with different GAA teams. A special thank you to Doctor Frank Chambers for approaching us for this training.

Well done to all volunteers that took part in this training exercise. It is important, evenings like these make us the best medics and volunteers that we try to be.

A huge thank you to our members who facilitated the training each week and to Lloyd and Gillian for all their hard work. Thank you to Nowlan Park for the use of their facilities, allowing us to use the pitch and stands to make this event realistic especially, John and Pat who took part in the training exercise and learning what to do behind the scenes.
