A big thank you to Sean Hegarty for the beautiful flowers he has planted in the many window boxes for the centre.

We would like to thank all those that came along on Sunday to our Family Sports Day – Great fun was had by all and well done to everyone who participated in the races. The Committee would like to say a special word of thanks to the following, our sponsors of the wonderful prizes Connacht GAA Council, KRAMT/ Genfitt, Kilmovee GAA.

Thanks also to Carmel Williams for coming along and taking photos, Megan from Rinka who ensured all the children were kept entertained, & Tuesday for her very artistic face painting. Robert Hunt Kilmovee GAA who assisted with the organising of the races and the penalty shootout- Daniel Allen for volunteering as goalie for the penalty shootout. Aghamore GAA for making their goal posts available to us for the day. The heritage committee for the use of the barriers and David Cassisdy organising them to the site. Oisin McCann for the music. FRC Kilkelly – Jackie for her administrative work.

Neill Sheridan, Ballaghaderreen & Philip Lennon Knock for their assistance with the refreshments in the centre, Kieran & Bernie Tarpey for their sponsorship of cakes in the shop.

Duffy’s butchers – Noel, Diane, Luke & Matthew who provided the tasty burgers and manned the BBQ well into the evening.

A special word of thanks to the Kilkelly Trimoige Community Centre staff, Gerard, Hanna & Sean who worked very hard in the weeks running up to the event and then on the sports day itself without your hard work and commitment the committee would not have been able to run the sports day. Thanks to the following volunteers who helped out on the day, Dolores & Tommy Cassidy, Michelle Devine, Caroline Doherty & Fiona McCabe.

We hope everyone had a great day and the committee looks forward to organising next year’s sport’s day.
