Another great Community First Responders demo session this morning where we attended with some students from Scoil Ide Naofa Kilmead Kilmead NS. Everyone was very keen to learn more, ask questions about dealing with emergency response situations, how to get help and assistance when faced with an emergency event.

Two of our responders recertified tonight to continue to respond in our community. Delighted to have a responder from Dunlavin Community First Responders recertifing too.

Also our group has a new group instructor to help with future training. Thanks to Simon Taylor of Blessington Community First Responders for monitoring on behalf of NAS to ensure all training standards are met.

Thanks to The Old Hardware, Narraghmore for providing a great space for us to train.

Knowing your Eircode is great, but it's so important to ensure that you write it down and leave it somewhere obvious in case it's needed in an emergency situation.

On the fridge, by the phone.. as long as it's obvious, clearly visible and legible!
