Hi everyone. The Irish Men's Sheds Association do trojan work facilitating connection, fun, friendship and the resultant benefits to physical and mental well being amongst its members. Of all the tools in men's sheds the kettle is the most important! The TY students in Killina are helping the association in their attempt to break the world record for the most working electric kettles under one roof. We need approximately 170 more kettles and are seeking the help of the general public to get us over the line. If you can loan a kettle for the cause, please drop it off in Mucklagh Community Centre any time this week or before next Monday, 11th Nov at the latest. The kettles are needed until the 19th Nov - just over a week. Please put your name and a contact number on your kettle so we can arrange to return it to you. The aim is to develop awareness of the existence of the men's sheds and the benefits of becoming a member. Any and all loans of working kettles would be most welcome. Sincere thanks to everyone.
