Katie flew out to Portugal this morning along with her teammates at Setanta BC, Kildare. Thanks to head coach Michael for bringing Katie on the trip.

Congratulations to Leah O'Keeffe who last night was awarded a Cork North Garda Youth Award for her contribution to boxing👏

Leah has had a successful career inside and outside of the ring, and has been a huge asset to Kanturk Boxing Club over the years -- stepping up as head coach for training sessions when Jim isn't around, as well as becoming a qualified boxing judge.

In the ring she has won several County and provincial titles, along with three All Ireland titles -- her most recent at the IATBA Third Level Championships earlier this year🍀

Well done on the award, and a huge thanks to Pat McDonagh and all at the Charleville Park Hotel, Garda Kathryn Canty and the Gardaí👏

We are having a open day for new members (strictly beginners only) aged from 9 years to adults on Saturday April 25th from 12pm to 2pm at the boxing club🥊

We want no boxers that have previously boxed with us or from other clubs.
