Why not join us for the weekend of Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival. Camping is available from Thursday August 6th to Monday August 10th 2026. The festivities kick off on Saturday August 8th with our annual Steam Run and live music in the village. Sunday 9th is our main event. Moynalty Steam Threshing festival 2026 Saturday itinerary. Join us on Saturday August 8th in the village as we start the weekend celebrations. Steam Run leaving the Threshing field at 1.30pm, stopping of in Mullagh for approximately 1 hour, followed by Wi***es Tractor Run in aid of blackwater first responders. Street carnival starting at 4pm with music on the street by Claire Dillon, followed by arrival of steam engines back to the village for 6pm led in by the corduff pipe band. More music to follow from Ted Nevin and Jordan McPolin till late, please note the Saturday event is free for all the family, bar facilities & food available all day and night in the village.

Moynalty Steam Threshing are very saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend and supporter Brian Keegan a true steam enthusiast. Brian could be seen regularly on our rally field with his Fowler traction engine, anything ever asked of Brian was never a problem he also took part in our two road runs in 2018 and 2024 along with his son Ross. Brian has left us with wonderful memories our deepest sympathy goes to all his family on there huge loss we are all thinking of you at this very difficult time.

Wishing all our patrons exhibitors venders and many friends a very happy Christmas and peaceful new year. Thanks to everyone for the memories at our 50th anniversary hopefully it was as enjoyable for all as it was for us putting it on. Looking forward to 2026.
