The River Nore will form the backdrop for the fourth annual Inistioge Summer Festival - a fun-filled family festival which takes place in the beautiful village of Inistioge in Co. Kilkenny over the June Bank Holiday weekend. SUNDAY 1st of June:

On Sunday there are food and drink stalls aplenty. Catering for every budget, the stalls include a Summer BBQ, teas with locally produced homemade treats in the marquee, gourmet food and dessert stalls. And of course…
There are the obligatory festival staples for kids - face painting, guess the weight of the lamb, stilt-walkers, stocks, supervised bouncy castle etc. CHILDREN enter the festival for FREE, adult entry is €5. Many of the activities during the festival are free. Free open-air concert
To wind down (or wind up – whichever takes your fancy), Fourpenny Rock will perform a free open-air concert in the Millennium Garden in the heart of Inistioge village, kicking off at 6.00pm. The Inistioge Summer Festival is run by the local community. All proceeds go directly to the development of the Inistioge Cois Abhann centre. The festival is part of the Kilkenny Community Festival Network which comprises six festivals within County Kilkenny and is supported by Kilkenny Leader Partnership.
