The Frenchpark & Mullen Community Alert Group is delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new community website: www.frenchpark.ie
In the spirit of our group’s aims — promoting inclusion, self-sufficiency, safety, and neighbourliness — this website has been built as a hub for the whole community.
Here’s what you’ll find so far:
- A growing directory of local businesses. Publicly listed ones from Google Maps are already included, but any local business, sole trader, or community group is warmly invited to submit their details. It’s 100% free and all about supporting our locals.
- A resources page (currently being built). If you know of a service, support, or helpful link that others might benefit from, please share it!
- A village history section. Celebrating Frenchpark’s rich past and local heritage.
- A community events and notices page. Perfect for sharing regular meet-ups, fundraisers, or announcements. Like the directory, it’s free to submit.
- And in the about section, you’ll find details on our group’s work, including how to join the Community Alert Text Scheme.
This website is entirely volunteer-run, created to support and connect our local area. The directory, resources, and events listings also include our neighbouring parishes — all are welcome, and all are important part of our community.
