Today is a reminder that every act of support, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.

Our services are provided free of charge to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. To continue providing these vital services, we rely on Government funding, corporate partners, sponsors, donations from the public, and the support of our social enterprises.

Every time you shop, visit, eat, exercise or use a service at one of our social enterprises, you’re helping to support Reach Ability’s services for people with disabilities.🩷

So today, on , we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who supports us in so many different ways.

On 21st August, Kate Tyndall and John Grennan from our Bunclody Hub travelled to Borris to take part in the 10th Anniversary celebrations of Borris Lace Makers, as part of .

They had the opportunity to try their hand at making Borris Lace, a beautiful craft created through fine needlework. It takes plenty of patience and concentration, but thankfully Marie and Helena from Borris Lace were on hand to help them learn the skill! 🧵

They also enjoyed listening to a traditional music session, making it a lovely morning filled with local heritage, music, creativity and connection. 🎶

Katie and Kate were delighted to attend a wonderful decoupage workshop in Ballon BTS with Con's creations craft , where they had the opportunity to learn a brand-new art skill.

Decoupage is a delicate technique that requires plenty of concentration, patience and a gentle touch, and the ladies did a fantastic job! 👏 They each created a decorative jug, which they were delighted to bring home.

A big thank you to Connie’s Creations for a lovely and creative day! We’re looking forward to practising this new skill again in our Hub in Bunclody and seeing what the ladies create next! 💚

Some of our individuals and staff from Burkes, Bunclody, Castlebridge and Monageer had a fantastic day kayaking in Bunclody on Thursday, 13th August, as part of Wexford Outdoors Week 2026!🚣‍♂️

With Sports Active Wexford, everyone had the opportunity to try something completely new, get outdoors and enjoy a morning of sunshine, kayaking and plenty of fun. 😊

It was brilliant to see everyone giving it a go and getting involved.

A big thank you to Sports Active Wexford for having us and making it such a fantastic day! 🙌
