🏛️ Paving the Way for the Dunshaughlin Courthouse Project!
Exciting steps are being taken for the heart of our village! The Dunshaughlin Town Team is proud to support Meath County Council’s recent application under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) for the regeneration of the historic Dunshaughlin Courthouse.
🔗 Tied Directly to Our Town Centre First Plan
Transforming the disused District Courthouse sits right at the core of the Dunshaughlin Town Centre First (TCF) Plan.
Our TCF blueprint focuses on tackling vacant and underutilised buildings, boosting local enterprise, and creating vibrant community and cultural spaces. Turning the old courthouse into a modern, multi-use hub brings this vision directly to life, ensuring our historic core remains a living, breathing focal point for everyone.
📝 Advancing to the Next Stage
With the Part 8 planning process successfully completed, this latest RRDF application marks a major milestone in pushing the project forward. Securing this backing would provide the capital investment needed to finally restore this 19th-century landmark and turn our community plans into reality.
We look forward to working alongside Meath County Council as this application progresses through the review stages. Stay tuned for updates!
