👩🏽‍⚕️Col Conway, Community Nurse with the Marie Keating Foundation will be coming to Dunmanway Family Resource Centre on Tuesday, 23rd June from 2pm – 3pm to talk for men about Prostate and Bowel Cancer Awareness.

The talk will include the risk factors and symptoms of prostate cancer and the tests that are done to help check for changes in the prostate gland, and the risk factors, symptom and diagnosis of bowel cancer and information about Bowel Screen, Ireland’s national screening programme.

The campaign is all about supporting men and boys to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Cork Sports Partnership delivers a diverse range of events and activities across the county, designed to help men take that first step, try something new, and enjoy being active in a welcoming and supportive environment.

This will be a more interactive and informal evening, celebrating the many opportunities within our community to stay connected, active, creative, and involved.
