Join us on Saturday 3rd October for one of DGYC’s Big Days Out! This time we are heading to Tallaght Sports Complex (2-4pm) where we have booked out a pool, a 5-aside astro pitch, and a sports hall! But don’t worry, it won’t be all sports. We’ll have a chill-zone, some crafty activities today, and of course….explore faith together!
This event is for secondary school age teens in the dioceses. Young people must come as part of a youth group, or, if your parish doesn’t have one, with a parent or guardian.
If you’re bringing a group, you MUST book in with Emma ([email protected]), and all leaders should adhere to the Safeguarding Procedures of the Church of Ireland.
Ps: Don’t forget a swimming cap!

We had an incredible time at Summer Madness. Molly, Nana and Emma ran The Hatch (along with the amazing Zoe ), the Big Top sessions were epic, we were thrilled to see our own Shane Maguire from Saint Catherine’s as a speaker in the YFC tent, and of course, we give a HUGE thanks to John Kee who is retiring after 39 years of being an incredible faithful servant of God. Our interns, Nana and Molly, have graduated! Yesterday we had a lunch to celebrate these two amazing women, who they are, how we have seen them grow and to affirm them in their giftings and ministry.
We also ate a lot of food (some more than others… chem).
Molly and Nana have been an absolute blessing to everyone they have worked with over these past 10 months. They will be finishing up officially at Summer Madness, so if you see them there, give them a high five! 🖐️
