Royal Canal Clean-up We are a community of volunteers who meet on the second Saturday of every month to help tidy, clean, and care for the Royal Canal.

It is one of Dublin City’s great public amenities and together, we are working to make it even better!

Who’s ready to hit the Royal canal, enjoy a paddle, and help clean up our neighborhood along the way? 🌍🛶

We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month and are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least 3.5 hours (including set up and pack away of equipment). Flexible commitment available!

I just wanted to post some photos of the excellent team we had helping out last Saturday for our first clean-up of 2026. It was bloody COLD and large sections of the water was frozen over, so we had fun cracking through it on our kayaks! Thanks everyone involved on water & land. 🙂
