๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ From community initiative to institutional presence.

Anna Krys had the privilege of attending the European Chamber of Ireland event at Leinster House.

For us, this moment carried particular meaning.

In a room where economic outlook, international cooperation and long-term strategy were being discussed, we shared for the first time in this setting that the Ukrainian Irish Chamber of Commerce is now officially registered.

What began in March 2022 as an immediate response to war has evolved into something more structured: a platform for sustained economic dialogue between Ukraine and Ireland.

Being present in the House of the Oireachtas was not simply symbolic. It reinforced our conviction that Ukraineโ€™s recovery will depend not only on resilience, but on partnerships โ€” institutional, strategic, and built for the long term.

We are grateful to the organisers and hosts for the invitation and the opportunity to engage in meaningful exchange.

The next chapter is underway.

In March 2022, in the first weeks after the full-scale invasion, United for Changes was created as an immediate response.

It began as a grassroots initiative supporting displaced Ukrainians in Ireland, helping professionals integrate, launching business bootcamps, building community, creating opportunity, and delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Last November, we gathered our community together โ€” participants of two Ukrainian Business Bootcamps, Ukrainian founders who have launched businesses in Ireland, mentors, partners, and established business leaders.

That evening marked the soft launch of the Ukrainian Irish Chamber of Commerce. During the event, our Co-Founder & CEO, Anna Krys, shared a personal reflection that shaped this next step:

โ€œWhen we started United for Changes, it was a response to war. We did not expect the war to last four years. But reality requires long-term decisions.

On March 31st 2025, I had a serious skiing accident. Two fractures. Two surgeries. Months of rehabilitation.

Recovery gave me time to think. I now carry two plates in my body โ€” one in my wrist and one in my knee. A daily reminder that strength needs support.
Not only in the body, but in organisations, in business, in countries.

Support means friendship. Support means action.

Ukraine will need economic growth after victory. It will need institutional bridges. And since we are already here, with experience and networks, it is time to make it official.โ€

And so, the four co-founders Anna Krys, Pavlo Bogachenko, Volodymyr Kovalchuk, and Vlada Shevchenko took the next step.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช The Ukrainian Irish Chamber of Commerce is now officially registered.

The formal launch will take place on March 3rd.
But this moment, this community, was the beginning.

If you believe in building what comes after victory, we invite you to build it with us. If youโ€™d like to get involved, feel free to message Anna Krys directly.
