Hi everyone,
Blanchardstown North West Community First Responders, are campaiging for estate's in the area would be interested in taking part in a community project to install a solar-powered public access AED (defibrillator).
The unit would be available 24/7 and could make a real difference in a cardiac emergency while waiting for the ambulance service to arrive.
The total cost is approximately €4,850 (€3,650 for the solar-powered cabinet and €1,200 for the AED itself).
For this to happen, a small group of residents would need to come together to lead the project and organise fundraising within the estate. Blanchardstown North West CFR would be happy to provide advice, guidance, and CPR/AED awareness training to support the project.
This could be an opportunity for our estate to become one of the first in Dublin 15 to have a solar-powered AED available for the community.

💙 50 weeks ago, we started with 4 AEDs, 10 members, and a simple desire to assist our community.

What began as an idea has grown into something truly special. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, the support of our community, and countless hours of training and commitment, we have grown beyond anything we could have imagined.

Today, we are proud to be making a real difference when people need us most.

From one idea to an incredible first year! 💙❤️

What started as a vision to bring Community First Responders to Blanchardstown North West has grown into a team of 24 dedicated volunteers, 10 defibrillators, 3 CFR-C instructors, and 153 emergency call-outs attended.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, local business, and member of the community who has helped make this possible. We are proud of what we have achieved together and excited for what the future holds.

Here's to many more lives touched, communities supported, and differences made. 🚑

🎉 Happy First Anniversary to Blanchardstown North West Community First Responders! 🎉

What an incredible first year it has been.

Over the past year, our dedicated volunteers have given countless hours to training, responding to emergency call-outs, supporting the National Ambulance Service, and serving our local community when it mattered most.

This milestone would not have been possible without the commitment of every volunteer, the support of our families, local businesses, community groups, and the trust placed in us by the people of Blanchardstown North West.

We are immensely proud of what has been achieved in just one year and look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and serve our community for many years to come.

🚑 Blanchardstown North West Community First Responders are attending the Volunteer EXPO! 🚑

Come down and meet our volunteers on Saturday 23rd May (12pm - 3pm) at the Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

Find out more about what Community First Responders do within the community, the training involved, and how volunteering can make a real difference when somebody is in need.

We would love to meet members of the community, answer any questions, and chat about the work we do alongside the National Ambulance Service.

I just want to take a moment to thank all of our amazing community volunteers who give up their time to support others when they are most in need.

Being part of a PHECC Community First Responder group, I get to see firsthand the dedication, compassion, and kindness that volunteers show every single day. Whether it’s responding to emergencies, helping at community events, or simply being there for someone during a difficult time, your support truly makes a difference.
