Junior Achievement Ireland Junior Achievement Ireland inspires young people to realise their potential by valuing education and understanding how to succeed in the world of work.

We are part of JA Worldwide, a 5-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee. Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) encourages young people to remain in education and teaches them the skills they need to succeed in a changing world. JAI is part of a worldwide organisation reaching out to 12million young people each year. It was established in Ireland in 1996 and since then has built up a strong demand from schools

throughout the country and created successful partnerships with over 170 leading organisations. JAI is helping to create a culture of enterprise within the education system. We also help young people prepare for the world of work, giving them skills in communications and preparing for interviews. Financial literacy programmes teach students how to manage, protect and make the most out of their future salaries. As we move towards a knowledge-based economy, JAI is also bringing science and maths skills to thousands of young students nationwide through our programmes and events.

Through JAI's ๐„๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ณ๐ž programme, 6th Class students at Castaheany Educate Together National School in Dublin 15 explored science through hands-on activities, sparking questions, building confidence and encouraging a deeper understanding of the world around them.

With JAI volunteer Sinead from the Central Bank of Ireland sharing her time and expertise, students investigated topics from energy and safety to wellbeing and light, while putting their creativity into action through the Carbon Monoxide Safety Poster Competition.

Experiences like these help young people develop the confidence to explore, discover and imagine what's possible.

Thank you, Sinead, for inspiring curiosity and helping students see the excitement of science.

That was the question a 2nd class student from Divine Mercy Balgaddy National School in Lucan, Co. Dublin asked Junior Achievement Ireland volunteer Elaine Shanley from on her last visit to facilitate the JAI Our Community programme.

Thank you, Elaine, for helping to connect young people with the world of work and inspiring the next generation.

Students from Trinity Primary School PA, Tuam explored how communities are planned and developed through creative, hands-on learning.

As they designed their own city, they developed teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while discovering how businesses, services, schools, and shared spaces all play a role in helping communities thrive. The experience encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Through the JAI Our City programme, delivered by a volunteer from Deloitte, students explored these ideas in an engaging and inspiring way.
