There was plenty of questions and we had a good chat. Pavee Point regularly links in with Culture Club to offer these sessions.

There is a new rule in the Register Office to register for marriage.

๐˜๐Ž๐” ๐‚๐€๐'๐“ ๐†๐„๐“ ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐‘๐ˆ๐„๐ƒ ๐Ž๐ ๐˜๐Ž๐”๐‘ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–๐“๐‡ ๐๐ˆ๐‘๐“๐‡๐ƒ๐€๐˜ ๐€๐๐˜๐Œ๐Ž๐‘๐„.

Couples still need to give the required 3 months' notice well in advance, and they can start their paperwork before they are 18, but they cannot complete it or get their marriage form (MRF) until they turn 18.

The register office only do appointments Monday-Friday so if they turn 18 over the weekend this means they will have their appointment for the Monday to get their MRF.

Today Pavee Point's Education Programme, in partnership with National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), deliver Day two of NALA 'Literacy Champion' training with the Primary Health Care and CE workers of Clondalkin Travellers Development Group.

The training is designed to support adults with unmet literacy needs in their community, and signpost them towards services to improve their reading, writing, maths, and digital skills.
