A very proud moment for the TUD SVP Society ()

After being named the Ireland winners of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize earlier this year, the successful team travelled to Aachen, Germany last week to attend the European Awards Ceremony. These prestigous Awards celebrate youth-led projects that strengthen and promote active citizenship across Europe.

Representing TU Dublin was incoming SVP TUD Society President Ninoshka Amanda Fernandes, who had the opportunity to speak to other international winners, network, and highlight their incredible work here in Ireland.

Reflecting on the trip, Ninoshka shared: “The TUD SVP Society has shown that through compassion, dedication and commitment, change within our communities has an irreplaceable impact on so many lives.”

Warm congrats from all your friends at SVP, once again to everyone involved in this incredible achievement.

Such a brilliant day at the recent SVP West Region Youth Day at the .

Hosted by Helen Ralph, it brought students from all over the region together to celebrate creativity, good vibes, and community.

We heard some inspiring words from Seamus McManus (SVP West Region President) and Teresa Ryan (SVP National President) and then it was straight into all the fun stuff, from the Future Fashion competition to designing badges and bags and snapping pics at the photo stand.

Huge shoutout to all the schools who got involved including Clarin College in Athenry, Co. Galway, Gort Nor Abbey in Crossmalina, Co. Mayo, and St Gerald’s Community College, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

You all smashed it.
