Did you know there's a national research project tracking prostate cancer care in Ireland?

IPCOR, run by a team at UCD and funded by Movember, follows men through diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up to help improve outcomes and quality of life.

It's already running in hospitals around the country, and several Prostate Cancer Ireland members sit on its patient advisory panel, making sure the patient voice is heard.

Find out what IPCOR does, what information it collects, and how it could shape prostate cancer treatment for years to come.

Introducing our new name: Prostate Cancer Ireland

For over thirty years, Men Against Cancer (MAC) has been an understated but active presence in the lives of men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland, and in the lives of those who love them. Founded in 1993, MAC began as a small group of men who understood, from personal experience, what it meant to face a prostate cancer diagnosis – and who believed that no one should have to face it alone.

That belief has never changed. But the organisation has grown, and the time has come for the name to grow with it.
