🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Event 🎀
We're delighted to let you know that a nurse from the Marie Keating Foundation will be visiting Ballyfermot Star, Drumfinn Park Wednesday at 11AM to host an information session on women’s cancers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about breast cancer and other cancers affecting women — including how to spot early signs, risk factors, and how to look after your health.

Ballyfermot Recovery Festival 2026 💜

What an amazing way to celebrate Recovery Month at the end of September! A huge well done to Rikke from the Liffey Partnership for the many hours of planning that went into making the day so special, and to all the services that took part.

We were incredibly proud of the Réalt Nua choir and singing group, the brilliant Boxing Clever demonstrations, and our amazing Réalt Beag team, who showed off their fantastic face-painting skills ladys thank you so much for the you give every year .
It was wonderful to see every part of STAR working together alongside the wider community to celebrate recovery, hope and connection.

Together, Ballyfermot, we do recover. 💜

very proud Réalt Nua moment last night 💙🥊
Not only did we get to celebrate seven of our amazing participants graduating with their Level 5 qualifications, but one of our favourite supervisors went and added another string to her already very impressive bow! 🎓👏
There’s something very special about getting to stand back and watch people achieve what they’ve worked so hard for. Nights like last night remind us exactly why we do what we do.
So proud of every single one of you — this is what Réalt Nua is all about. 💙
And a little shout-out to our former Réalt Nua star Kim We’re very proud of you well done on your level 6 💙

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Addiction doesn't just affect one person — it affects the whole family. Réalt na Chlann supports partners, parents and children, alongside the person in recovery. And while parents are with us, Réalt Beag crèche looks after the little ones.
