✈️ 🇮🇪 Ireland’s four leading PSA players are all in midweek tour action, with three appearing in the United States of America and another in France.

Fresh from his recent Albufeira PSA victory in Portugal, Conor Moran will feature on Wednesday in the opening round of the CCSA Chicago Open.

Our PSA men’s No.171 has been drawn against Josue Enriquez, the No.141 from Guatemala. A meeting against Tom Walsh [3], the No.65 from England, awaits the winner.

Sam Buckley [8], our No.102, will play the winner of Hollis Robertson, the No.304 from the USA, or Aqeel Rehman, the No.150 from Austria, in Thursday’s round of 16.

Meanwhile, Hannah Craig is the No.1 seed at the 360 Summit in Denver. Our PSA women’s No.61 will open with a Thursday quarter-final against an American, either Charlotte Sze, the No.111, or Bianca Herlory, the No.428.

Breanne Flynn, our PSA No.93, is in France this week. She begins her 4Eme Open PSA de Couzeix/Limoges campaign with an opening round match on Wednesday against Lilou Brevard-Belliot, the French No.206.

Croatia was one of nine countries represented at the Irish Masters Open and two of their players, Srdan Maksimovic (M35/40) and Marko Bozic (MO45), were named as No.1 seeds in their events.

Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and, of course, hosts Ireland were also involved in the three-day, 108-player tournament hosted at Fitzwilliam and Mount Pleasant...

🏆 David Cassidy has won the MO55 title at the Irish Masters Open.

The 5/8 seed topped Group B in the eight-player event. He started with a 3-1 win over Adrian Leeson [2] and followed with 3-0 victories over Croatia’s Damir Rukavina [3/4] and Stephen Fasenfeld [5/8].

That set up a Sunday showdown with Stephen Mooney in a thrilling final.

Fellow 5/8 seed Mooney jumped two games ahead, but he was denied the title in a third-game tiebreak.

This sparked Cassidy’s comeback, hitting back for a 3-2 (7-11, 7-11, 12-10, 11-7, 11-1) win.

🏆 Ireland’s David Ayerst lived up to his No.1 seeding at the Irish Masters Open by winning the MO50 title in Dublin.

A hat-trick of 3-0 wins were secured against England’s Wayne Beglan [9/16], Neal Murphy [9/16] and Dalibor Panic [9/16] to book a place in the final.

Ayerst fell two games behind to Vincent Pippet [5/8] before launching a powerful comeback for a 3-2 (9-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-6) victory.

🏆 Tom Crowe won the MO60 title at the Irish Masters Open with a run of four victories.

The 9/16 seed reeled off a hat-trick of 3-0 wins over Sean Balfe [5/8]. Roger Trost [3/4] of Belgium and Italy’s Sebastiano Sciliberto [9/16] – who took out No.1 seed Donal Kelly – to reach Sunday’s final at Fitzwilliam.

There he faced fellow Irishman Gerry Callanan, the No.2 seed, and a 3-0 (11-5, 11-1, 12-10) triumph was the outcome.

🏆 Siobhan Parker won all five of her matches to take the Irish Masters Open WO35/40/45 title.

A pair of 3-0 wins on Friday against Helen Byrne [3/4] and Niamh Darcy [5/8] got her round-robin campaign going.

Two more victories followed on Saturday, first 3-2 against Claire King [3/4] and then 3-0 against Lyndsey Harries [5/8].

🏆 John Dineen won all five matches to take the MO65 Irish Masters Open title in Dublin.

A hat-trick of 3-0 wins in Group B against fellow Irish players Brendan Murphy [5/8], Philip O’Donnell [9/12] and Michael Roden [5/8] was followed by another 3-0 group win against Germany’s Stefan Rosenberger [3/4].

That booked a Sunday final against No.1 seed Vincent Bradley, and the No.2 Dineen recorded a 3-2 (11-4, 7-11, 6-11, 11-6, 11-7) win.

Jimmy Carroll [9/12] defeated O’Donnell in a fifth-game tiebreaker to win the third-place play-off 3-2...

🏆 Kevin Moore upset the seeding at the Irish Masters Open with his MO45 title win.

Only ranked as a 9/16 shot in the 16-player event, he won all four matches, including Sunday’s all-Irish final at Fitzwilliam against Nigel Peyton, the No.2 seed.

Moore took advantage of John Guiney’s upset 3-1 round of 16 win over the top seed, Marko Bozic of Croatia, by defeating Guiney 3-0 in the quarter-finals after starting his campaign with a 3-0 win versus Ronan Campbell [5/8].

That secured a semi-final against Neal Po***ck [3/4] and another 3-0 win booked Moore his spot in the final against Peyton, which he won 3-2 (12-10, 2-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5).
