Building the community while improving the overall wellbeing, empower to navigate challenges, support personal growth and enhance women's quality of life.

“United Wings” is a community group created by Pakistani women's in Ireland with the main purpose of bringing compassion, unity and hope to the families in need. It is a non profit group, led by volunteer women and anyone could be a member of this group in good faith. Mrs Qurat ul Ain is the Chairperson, Dr. Asra Javed is nominated as Secretary as well as one of the treasurer, while Mrs Fehmina K

han are acting as both Treasurer and Social Media Manager. To become an active member a contribution of €5 pm is required. Non active members can contribute as they like but United Wings request a minimum of €5pp so no one feels burdened. All collections are then used to arrange events and to help who are in need and support, either in Ireland or back home. The aim of the group is
• To provide support to the vulnerable families, women and children in Pakistan
• Make a positive difference together as one community
• To provide needed help and courage to the vulnerable, so they can stand with dignity
• Help settle in newcomers to this side of the world socially and morally.
• Raise funds and distribute them among deserving and in need.
• Look after and help each other in times of distress by encouraging and raising their strength

Together we are STRONG, HIGHER and UNITED. Come let’s do Wonders Together.

Our hearts are so full. Thank you every one for joining and celebrating with us a wonderful Eid ul Fitr party day, filled with laughter, entertainment, music, games, henna and food. It was great to see Pakistani women coming together for celebration and sharing of love and joy. The energy was absolutely unmatched, unreal moments, incredible vibes, and best crowd 🕺🔥.

International Women's Day is all about unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action. It’s a time to recognize leaders, dreamers, caretakers, creators, musicians, singers and every woman who makes life bolder and brighter.

IWD 2026 theme was, Give To Gain. “WHEN WE GIVE, WE GAIN"

"Give To Gain" emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.

Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.

What an amazing morning, as we enjoyed a Tea/Coffee & Chat about what can be done!!!
Hosted by United Wings in The Barbican Centre Drogheda.

"United Wings" is a community group working for the better of people by raising funds for those who are in real need.

It was great to see so many new and familiar faces, attended on the morning and they linked in really well. The event was all about flood Victims in Pakistan, raising funds and distributing them among deserving.

We are so inspired by the community's outpouring of support and are working tirelessly to get aid to those who need it most. We will continue to share updates on our progress, and we appreciate your continued belief in our mission.
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.

A heartfelt thankyou to Mayor of Drogheda, Michelle Hall for joining us and to Cllr Ejiro O'Hare Stratton for providing us the opportunity.
