We finished our Creeslough Connect to Citizenship programme with a fantastic final session focused on giving back to our community! 🧤🗑️🤝

Our young people worked together to clean up a local public area. With litter pickers, gloves, and bags provided by Donegal County Council, we managed to collect two full bags of rubbish! 👏🌿

A huge thank you to Donegal County Council for supporting us and providing everything we needed. 💙

We are so proud of the group for finishing the programme by making a positive difference in their community. Small actions can make a big difference! 🌱✨

Our young people enjoyed a visit to a local café, where they practised valuable life skills by ordering their own food and drinks, making choices, and building confidence in everyday situations. 😊🙌

Activities like this help young people develop independence, communication skills, and confidence while encouraging them to become active and responsible members of their community. 🌍💙

A simple café visit can be a big step towards greater independence! 👏✨

Our young people enjoyed a wonderful nature walk, collecting beautiful wildflowers and exploring the outdoors together 🌼🚶‍♀️☀️

Before heading out, everyone decorated their own wooden flower bouquet. They then searched for flowers and carefully placed their finds into the wooden display, creating unique nature-inspired keepsakes 🌷🎨✨

This creative activity encouraged teamwork, appreciation for nature, and showed how spending time outdoors can help us connect with our community and the environment. 💚🌍
