♻️👕✨ Clothing Upcycling Workshop ✨👕♻️

Our young people got creative by bringing in clothes and fabrics from home and giving them a brand-new look! 🎨🧵✂️

Using their imagination and design skills, they decorated, altered, and transformed old items into unique pieces, giving them a second life instead of throwing them away 🌍💚

It was fantastic to see the older members of the group supporting the younger participants throughout the workshop, sharing ideas, helping with designs, and working together as a team 🤝🌟

A fun and creative activity that encouraged sustainability, teamwork, and self-expression while showing how small changes can make a big difference ♻️😊

A huge thank you to all the young people and parents who donated clothes and fabrics for our Cloth Donation initiative in Gweedore 🙌✨

Your support helped make our upcycling workshop a great success while encouraging creativity and sustainability 🌍💚

Any remaining clothing will be donated to a local charity shop by our young people and staff together, helping to give these items a new home and purpose 🤝♻️

Thank you for your generosity and support! 😊

🌸 Community Flowers Workshop 🌸

Today our young people on Arranmore took part in a creative “Connect to Citizenship”

The group designed and painted beautiful wooden flowers before working together to create one shared community bouquet 💐

Through creativity, teamwork, and conversation, young people explored:
🤝 kindness and inclusion
🌱 community spirit
🎨 self-expression
💬 positive communication

Just like every flower adds something special to a bouquet, every young person brings something valuable to their community 💛

Last week, we got creative and made our own door hangings 🚪🎨
On one side, we wrote one thing we want to do for our community 💡🤝
On the other side, we completed the sentence:
“I’m a citizen who…” 💬🌟
It was a fun and meaningful activity that helped us share our ideas, values, and the positive changes we want to make in our communities 💙🍀
