🌿🥾 Respectful Relations & Connect to Citizenship – Foróige PEACEPLUS 💙🌍

What a fantastic day out in Glenveagh National Park! 🌲🏞️

Our young people from Respectful Relations and Connect to Citizenship joined together with Foróige UBU West Donegal and Foróige North West for an amazing group walk of over 8 km! 🥾💪

It was a day full of fresh air, beautiful scenery, conversations, laughter, and plenty of teamwork. 🤝😊 By the end, everyone was tired but very happy and proud of themselves! 💙✨

Experiences like this are a wonderful way to build confidence, strengthen relationships, connect young people across different groups, and create positive memories together. 🌱

Our young people enjoyed a fascinating journey through the history and heritage of the local area during a wonderful guided tour. They also had great fun taking a boat trip, riding the pedal boats, and travelling on the charming miniature steam train. 🚤🚂✨
It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the programme—filled with learning, laughter, new experiences, and great memories together. A huge well done to all of our young people for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the project! 🌍🤝

This week, our young people from Dungloe explored conflict resolution through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios.

Together, we looked at different types of conflict, how people may react in challenging situations, and positive ways to communicate, manage emotions, and resolve disagreements with respect and understanding. 🗣️✨

By developing these important life skills, young people are building confidence, empathy, and stronger, more respectful relationships with others. 🌱💙
