🌟 Exciting News for Riverchapel & Surrounding Areas! 🌟

The 14th Wexford Riverchapel Scout Group is planning to launch in September 2026 for young people aged 12–15 years.

Our Beavers and Cubs Scout Groups are a great success 🙏

Scouting offers young people the opportunity to:
🏕️ Experience adventure
🤝 Build lifelong friendships
🌿 Enjoy the outdoors
💡 Learn valuable life skills
❤️ Make a positive difference in their community

To make this happen, we need the support of local volunteers. No previous Scouting experience is required – just enthusiasm, community spirit, and a willingness to help young people grow and thrive.

Whether you can give a little time each week or help behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you!

What a fantastic morning for the 14th Wexford Riverchapel Scout Group 👏💙🤍🖤

A very successful Sunday morning Scouters meeting was held today!

A huge thank you to Mo from Shoreline Ice Cream and Donuts who opened up early for us and spoiled us with delicious donuts 🍩

We were also incredibly grateful to receive a surprise donation of €500 from Pat Byrne towards our Scout Group 🙏 Pat also shared valuable advice and guidance from his own experience as a Group Leader, giving us some great pointers on who to contact and the next steps to take 💙

We would also like to give a shout out and a huge thank you to Whelan’s Pharmacy in Courtown for donating a fully equipped first aid kit for our group. We are blessed to live in such a caring community

🌟 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – EARLY YEARS 4–5 YEAR OLDS 🌟

14th Wexford Riverchapel Scout Group is excited to explore launching an Early Years Trial Scheme from September 2026 – April 2027! 💙

This programme would provide young children with a fun, welcoming environment where they can build:✨ Confidence✨ Friendships✨ Creativity✨ Teamwork✨ Independence

We are currently looking for expressions of interest from families who may wish to take part.

💚 Volunteers are also needed to help get this exciting new programme up and running! Training and support will be provided.

What a fantastic opening night for our Beavers and Cubs! 💙🤍🖤

A huge thank you to all the children and parents who joined us. It was wonderful meeting so many new faces and seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the evening.

We’re so proud of how well everyone settled in, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back next week for more fun, friendship, and adventure! 💙🤍🖤

This evening is our opening night and a very special night for the 14th Wexford Riverchapel Scout Group ⚜️💙🤍🖤

It’s been a long time coming, with moments where I honestly wondered if we would ever get here or fully understood the amount of work involved behind the scenes. But through teamwork, determination, and the support of amazing people, we kept pushing forward — and now we are finally ready to open our doors to the children of our community.

A huge thank you to every Scouter and volunteer who helped make this possible. Your time, patience, and dedication have brought this dream to life.

Here’s to the beginning of something special for the young people and adults of the 14th Wexford Riverchapel Scout Group ⚜️💙🤍🖤
