The continued success of the Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle is only possible because of the incredible dedication of our volunteers and volunteer groups who give so generously of their time each year.

Yesterday, we were delighted to visit Passage Men’s Shed to thank them for their fantastic support of this year’s event.

As a small token of our appreciation, we presented the group with a framed photograph capturing them in action during the 2026 Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle, along with delivering some goods to their shed.

One of the four co-organising Lions Clubs behind the Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle, Carrigaline & District Lions Club is gearing up for its flagship Carrigaline & District Lions Club Cycle Classic on Saturday, 26th September.

This year marks an incredible milestone as the event celebrates 35 years of cycling and fundraising.

This years Cycle Classic is in aid of Marymount University Hospice

A huge thank you to Cork's 96FM for highlighting the upcoming Fort2Fort International cycling challenge and helping us spread the word! 🚴

This October, a dedicated team of cyclists will take on an incredible challenge in Italy, cycling 300km and climbing 2,900 metres over four days to raise vital funds for Cork ARC Bantry.

THANK YOU!

Thank you to each and every one of you who got on your bike and took part in Fort 2 Fort 2026 in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House 💜. It was simply a stunning day from start to finish, with fantastic weather, great camaraderie and an atmosphere that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A special word of thanks must go to this year’s Fort 2 Fort Committee. The event requires months of planning, preparation and dedication, and it simply would not happen without the commitment and hard work of this incredible team.

We would also like to sincerely thank all of our generous sponsors. Your support and backing are fundamental to the success of Fort 2 Fort and we are truly grateful for your continued commitment to the event and to our chosen charity.

Finally, and most importantly, thank you to all of the Lions Club members, family members, friends and volunteers from across our clubs who assisted with assembling, registration, stewarding, catering, marshalling and supporting riders out on the roads. The success of the event is down to the large team of volunteers who give their time so generously.
