Midleton and East Cork Flood Protection Group are taking to the streets this Saturday to protest in Midleton at 12pm. Three years on from Storm Babet and still no flood protection for the town. Please consider joining them if you are free.

Three years after Storm Babet hit the town of Midleton and the wider East Cork area with devastating flooding, residents say the flood relief schemes are taking too long.

Interesting to see how Minister Darragh O’Brien will respond to this request to engage with this Galway community. He attended the developer’s project launch and praised their efforts, will he give the same courtesy to community members?

Tuesday again, the weeks are flying by!
We’ll be in Lisgoold Community Centre from 8:30pm - 9:30pm tonight and every Tuesday up until the New Year. 😊

We understand everybody is busy, but as each week passes we get closer to the deadline for payment of our legal fees. We’re conscious there are a lot of books out in the community that monies haven’t been returned for yet. Please, can everybody who has money from sold books of tickets drop it in to us tonight.
If you have taken books that are unsold, please consider buying them and returning the money, and selling or gifting them on later.

Thank you🙏 - we can do this together! ❤️
