We are absolutely delighted with the incredible response for this year’s Cork Young Filmmakers Gala - the event is now FULLY BOOKED! 🎥 🤩

This annual celebration brings together creativity, community and film, and we are honoured to welcome Cllr. Mary Linehan Foley, Mayor of the County of Cork, who will open the evening, along with our special guests Kyra Owers and Benjamin Rupprecht.

The Gala will feature the premiere screenings of films created during our 2025 Summer Film Weeks and Two-Day Workshops, highlighting the imagination, creativity and hard work of young people from across County Cork. We are also delighted to present a special screening of 'Better When You're Dancing', followed by our much-loved annual Audience Choice Awards.

This unique vibrant programme is coordinated by Cork Film Centre and funded mainly by Cork County Council and The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, with additional support from SECAD Partnership CLG - SECAD, Cork ETB Youth Services and the Cork County Council Municipal Districts Community Funds.

We can’t wait to celebrate the filmmakers, share their stories on the big screen, and enjoy a fantastic evening together at Cork County Hall. 🥳 👏

Thank you to everyone who registered - we look forward to welcoming you on Friday for an unforgettable night of film! 🎬 ✨
