Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery is a voluntary organisation based in Cork City. We conduct land and water based missing persons searches. Our Services are free of charg

e and we will respond to call outs from Gardaí, family members of missing persons, web master of www.missing.ie and the National Missing Persons helpline Ireland 1890-442552. Our group consists of members who are trained in search & recovery and we have been assisting Gardaí and families of missing persons for the past 20 years. We are also aligned to the National Missing Persons Helpline Ireland. To request our services to search for any missing person, the missing person must first be reported missing to the Gardaí before we can conduct any search. There are no paid members in our group and we are not government funded,we rely on donations from the public through fund raising events that the public and ourselves organise. Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Conor Jordan (23) who was reported missing on Wednesday 19th August 2026.

Conor was last seen in Sandyford, Dublin 16 on Wednesday 29th July 2026.

Conor is described as being approximately 5’11 in height, of stocky build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Conor was last seen wearing black runners, grey tracksuit bottoms, a light grey three quarter length zip top and possibly a black rain jacket.

Gardaí and Conor’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Helen Rudden (44) who is reported missing from Henry Street, Cork city since Friday 21st August 2026.

Helen is described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height, slight build, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

Helen was last seen wearing a black top, black pants, and with a black backpack on Henry Street, Cork City at 7:30am on Friday 21st August 2026.

John Keaveney who is missing in Cork City since 21st August 2023

John is described as being 5' 9" in height, of slim build, with brown eyes and a bald head.

When last seen, John was wearing a pair of navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie with the Irish soccer logo and white runners.

John was last seen on CCTV walking towards Centre Park Road,Páir Uí Chaoimh in the early hours of 21st August 2023.

John was wearing a distinctive grey Umbro Irish football hoodie and we are asking the people of Cork to think back if you may have seen John, on or after the 21st of August 2023 walking anywhere in Cork City or County

CCMPSAR volunteers were delighted to be chosen as charity partners for the St Finbarrs AC Cork 10k which was held last Sunday morning.It was an outstanding event and as always was run like clockwork.We would like to thank the organisers,Doyle Solicitors and all the sponsors and all the participants the Kingsley Hotel who always pull out all the stops to make this event a memorable one.
This event and the funds raised will help us continue our work helping the families of the missing.

Yesterday CCMPSAR Volunteers were contacted by Gardai to assist in the recovery of a vehicle that had entered the river .

Thankfully the occupant managed to exit and safety got ashore.

CCMPSAR dive unit assisted with Port Of Cork authority to remove the vehicle from the water .

We wish a speedy recovery to the person involved.

CCMPSAR were contacted last night by a member of the public after a kitten fell over Brian Boru bridge and became trapped under the bridge.After unsuccessful attempts to rescue the kitten we decided that a boat was required and after about 30 minutes volunteers Dinny,Dave Shine and Christy were able to coax the kitten out from under the bridge supports and into the boat.We brought the kitten back to the pontoon and handed the kitten to it’s grateful new owners Maria and Anto a great result for the kitten.
