Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery is a voluntary organisation based in Cork City. We conduct land and water based missing persons searches. Our Services are free of charg

e and we will respond to call outs from Gardaí, family members of missing persons, web master of www.missing.ie and the National Missing Persons helpline Ireland 1890-442552. Our group consists of members who are trained in search & recovery and we have been assisting Gardaí and families of missing persons for the past 20 years. We are also aligned to the National Missing Persons Helpline Ireland. To request our services to search for any missing person, the missing person must first be reported missing to the Gardaí before we can conduct any search. There are no paid members in our group and we are not government funded,we rely on donations from the public through fund raising events that the public and ourselves organise. Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 63-year-old John McDonagh, who has been reported missing from Kilcohan, Co. Waterford, since 3rd June 2026.

John is described as 5'11" in height, with grey hair and of a slim build.

Gardaí and John's family are concerned for his well being.

Stephen is described as being approximately 5 foot 11 inches in height with a slim build, black/brown hair and brown eyes.

Gardaí have issued a public appeal for information to identify a man who spent over 35 years at a care facility in Cork. The unnamed man first came to the attention of Gardaí in August of 1986 when he was found at a bus stop in Ballincollig and brought to a local hospital.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Melanie O'Toole (47) who was reported missing from Templeogue Road, Co. Dublin since Saturday 23rd May 2026.

Melanie is described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height with a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing black leggings, a blue t shirt, a pink coat, pink runners and a black floral backpack.

Gardaí and Melanie's family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Missing Person Appeal - Ronan O'Connor, 38 Years old, Bridge Street, Cork city, 2nd May 2026Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Ronan O'Connor (38) who was reported missing from Bridge Street, Cork city since Saturday 2nd May 2026.

Ronan is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a slim build, dark blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ronan also has a tattoo of black roman numerals on his left upper arm and a bird tattoo on his right outer bicep. When last seen, he was wearing black jeans, a black puffer jacket, white t-shirt and runners.

It is believed that Ronan travelled to Dublin on Saturday 2nd May 2026.

Gardaí and Ronan's family are concerned for his wellbeing.

It is believed that Ronan travelled to Howth, Co. Dublin on Thursday 14th May 2026.
