Due to Patsy Deasy's untimely death at the young age of 57, his friends and family decided to join forces and fundraise in his name. Initially this was a one off to help fund the refurbishing of a family and relatives room with bathrooms for the Intensive Care Unit at C.U.H. These fundraisers were so successful that a once yearly event now occurs mid August with a charity golf tournament, and a fu
n night in , along with any other events anyone has thought of during the year. There is a band or dj, raffles and spot prizes and of course the winners prizes. ALL monies raised are awarded to the chosen charity that year. In 2015 the money was awarded to C.U.H. - Adult Leukaemia Ward 2D, in 2016 to the local Bessboro branch of the , and a second table quiz was held in February 2017 with proceeds to . Our aim is to fundraise locally, and to keep all the proceeds local, any donations are welcome, but so is your support - we couldn't do it without you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts -
