Christmas Appeal – Schull Charity Shop

If you’re having a clear-out, now is the perfect time! Schull Charity Shop is collecting quality unwanted items that can be turned into Christmas presents - ideally items that would be worth more than €20.

We’re especially grateful for:

• Glassware or crystal
• Home décor pieces
• Jewellery
• New or unopened beauty or grooming sets
• Scarves, handbags, or accessories in excellent condition
• Nice candles or candle holders
• Gift sets, books, puzzles (new or nearly new)
• Frames, ornaments & other decorative pieces

If you’ve anything at home that you no longer need, please consider dropping it to our Schull Charity Shop. Your donations could help make someone’s Christmas a bit brighter.

This year marks a truly special milestone -Brú Columbanus is celebrating 20 years of providing “a home from home” for families of hospital patients in Cork.

Here at the Brú Columbanus Charity Shop, we’re proud to play our part in supporting this wonderful organisation. Every item donated, every purchase made, and every volunteer hour helps ensure that families facing medical challenges have a place to stay during difficult times.

A heartfelt thank you to all our customers, donors, and volunteers - your Continued support helps Brú Columbanus continue its vital work, 20 years on and going strong.

🌟 Quiz Night TOMORROW at the Crookhaven Inn – In Aid of Bru Columbanus 🌟

The tenth of Claire Barrett’s Wednesday Pub Quizzes takes place on Wednesday, 27th August at 9 PM in the Crookhaven Inn. Gather your friends, test your knowledge, and enjoy a night of fun, laughter, and community spirit – all while supporting a fantastic cause.

This wonderful event is part of an incredible fundraising effort led by Claire of Crookhaven. Claire has dedicated the past decade to supporting charities through her energy and passion, raising thousands each year.

She’s truly unstoppable - having already raised over €35,000 this year! Last year, her efforts from Crookhaven alone brought in a staggering €74,000. Claire is living proof that one person’s determination can change countless lives.

So, come along on Wednesday the 27th – support Claire, support Bru Columbanus, and enjoy the craic while doing good!
