Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation operating in local communities throughout Ireland.

We aim to provide children and young people with a wide range of sporting and cultural activities in a healthy and safe environment We provide opportunities for children and young people (aged 6-16) to grow and develop in a positive and healthy way.

A big congratulations to our fantastic athletes who took part in the regional competitions in Templemore yesterday 🏃🏃
Both Senan and Michael took part in the hurdle competitions and Joseph competed in the U14 800 metres.
Emily took the gold medal 🥇 in the U8 80 metres and will go on and represent Kerry in the national finals in August.
Thank you to all the parents and to all in Templemore for organising a fantastic day out.

Congratulations to our U 12 girls football team who took the Munster silver medal on Sunday ⚽️⚽️⚽️The girls gave it everything and can be very proud of their achievements.

We had a wonderful weekend in beautiful weather in Castleisland at the Kerry finals.

The following won medals 🥇

Emily O’Grady - 2nd in the U8 80 meters
Orlaith O’Sullivan 3rd in the U12 600 meters
Matthew Dunlea 4th in the U12 600 meters
Aoife Sheehan 4th in the U 12 Ball throw
Aodhan Murphy 1st in U10 Hurdles
Michael Owen Sweeney 3rd in the u10 hurdles
Gerald O’Grady, Sean O’Sullivan, Joseph Breen and Senan Breen 4th in the 100 meter U14 Relay
Senan Breen 3rd in the U14 Hurdles
Joseph Breen 3rd in the U14 800 meters
Tadhg Mannix 3rd in the 14 Shot Putt

We had many more athletes that reached the Semi Finals and Finals but most importantly all our athletes took part and enjoyed the day ☀️

Thanks to Callinafercy Rowing Club for the use of their Gazebo and to George, Eabha and Denis for organising 3 successful training sessions before the main event.

Thanks to Kerry Community Games and their helpers for running off both days so efficiently 👏👏👏👏

Congratulations to our U12 girls football ⚽️ team on winning their Preliminary game against Clare side Ballynacally-Lissycasey yesterday in the UL grounds. The girls put in a fantastic display of football ⚽️ and will take part in the Munster Semi Final on June 28th. Thanks to all the parents and the coaches Breda, Eugene and Tommy. Well done girls 👏👏👏

Congratulations to Daniel, Odhran and Cora who recently won medals 🥇 in the Kerry competitions.
Daniel came 3rd in the U10 hand writing and both Odhran and Cora came 4th in the U14 hand writing.
Thanks yet again to all the schools and teachers for allowing us to run these competitions.

Congratulations to these young girls who won the gold medal 🥇 in glorious sunshine ☀️ in Ballyduff last Sunday. They beat Castleisland in the final and will go on and represent Kerry at the Munster stages. Thanks to the parents and to the coaches Breda and Eugene.

Well done to our under 12 soccer team who won the gold medal 🥇🥇 in wet conditions in Camp today. The girls topped the group with wins over An Gaeltacht and Cahersiveen and a draw with Kenmare secured a place for them in the final. They beat Ballyduff in the final and will represent Kerry in Munster in June. A big thank you to the parents and to the coaches Mary T, Susan and Susan. ⚽️⚽️ Congratulations girls!!!

Our annual athletics event was held yesterday in Listry GAA Grounds with a large number of our athletes and their families there.
Thanks to all who helped out in any way, to our athletes and their parents for attending and to Listry GAA Club for use of their excellent facilities including PA system and shop👏
Kerry CG Athletics finals will be taking place at An Riocht Track in Castleisland on June 20th/21st.
Two entries are allowed from each area per individual event and athletes can only participate in one event (not applying to relays).
We will be organising a few training sessions beforehand and will contact parents of those who have qualified.
Places for relay panels will be finalised at our training sessions.
