The hall committee & friends of the parish hall are saddened to hear of the death of a to a long time member of the committee, Pat Joe Harrington. Patjoe was our resident ‘Sound Man’, who was always at hand when ever a PA system was needed. He was a great man to tell us stories of past hall activities. He will be greatly missed by the parish, most especially by his family. Our condolences to Kathleen, Julie, John, Micheál & Patrick & families.
Patjoe was the first to send in recordings for our virtual concert back in 2021. He was a proud man, sitting on the wall with the Galley Head in the back ground, doing what he loved, playing the accordion. The video is attached here as a reminder of his wonderful talent. Thank you for all you have done to bring music all around West Cork. Rest in peace Pat Joe.
