Important information and a public awareness poster regarding the rising concerns over illicit cannabinoid and "spice" products currently in circulation.

There is a significant increase in the use of these substances via vapes among young people, particularly within the Cavan and Monaghan areas! HSE Ireland

It's that time of year folks! We are recruiting some new young people to join our youth service for weekly groups! 🥳🙌

Cootehill Youth Citizenship Project has been up and running a full year now and we have done so much in that year from workshops, events, trips, you name it! 😁

We would love to see young people join us in all age groups for weekly drop in and we have some programmes and events rolling out soon with Monday and Tuesday groups which we would love new faces for!

Mondays we see 10-12 year olds (typically 5th & 6th class students) there are two groups and it's first come, first served with time slots so make sure you specify when registering!

Tuesdays we have 13-15 year olds (1st year - 3rd year) with one group operating at the moment from 5.00pm - 6.30pm! Lots of fun things to get involved in.

Thats a wrap for our Smoothly Does It Programme! Well done to all the young people who attended our transition from primary to secondary school programme this week, some great work done and great discussions had. 🙌

We had young people from 6 primary schools from around Ciotehill which was great to learn more about their schools and for them to meet some new faces heading into first year in the coming weeks.

We ended the programme today with a tour around the local secondary school Saint Aidan's Comprehensive - Scoil Chuimsiteach Aodáin Naofa guided by some pupils who are also Foroige young people! Massive thank you to Ella and Teagan who volunteered their time to support our Day 2 workshop going through timetables ans school journals and for answering any questions in the school today! 🌟👏
