Last week, Bernadette and Ross had the pleasure of visiting schools to present new jerseys and buddy benches to the students. It made the visits even more special knowing that James taught in each of these schools.❤️

This work has been going on in the background for the last number of months, and we were delighted to finally see it all come together.✨

Each set of jerseys was specially designed to reflect the individual school, and we’re delighted with how they turned out. A huge thank you to , who were fantastic throughout the whole process - we can’t recommend Shairoze & the team highly enough!

A special thank you to Enda Sweeney and Ross Egan for their incredible work behind the scenes over the last couple of months. Ross led the jersey designs and helped bring them to life, while Enda organised the buddy benches and personalised plaques for each school.

Thank you also to Peter O’Reilly, who worked with Bernadette on the words written on each buddy bench.

Finally, a warm thank you to all of the principals, teachers, and students for the welcome in every school, and to all of the schools throughout Mayo & Dublin who supported the James McNeive Foundation throughout the last year. We appreciate each and every one of you!❤️

We hope the jerseys bring plenty of good luck to each team, and that the buddy benches bring comfort, friendship, and joy to many students in the years ahead, with James watching over them all.🪽

We are absolutely delighted to share that €10,000 from the funds raised by The James McNeive Foundation has been donated to 🙏

This donation will support the continued development of the club. Eastern Gaels played an important role in James’ early footballing years, where he was part of the club as a young player.

The James McNeive Foundation donating €50,000 to 🌼

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have donated €50,000 towards the build of Daisy Lodge in County Mayo.

We also had the opportunity to walk around the site and receive a detailed overview of the incredible build taking place on the beautiful shores of Lough Corrib near Cong.

Daisy Lodge will be a therapeutic short-break centre for children across the island of Ireland who have been diagnosed with cancer, along with their families.✨

This will be ’s second Daisy Lodge, allowing even more families the chance to spend quality time together in a safe and supportive environment. Here, they will benefit from the therapeutic and emotional care provided by the Cancer Support Specialists. 🫶

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to The James McNeive Foundation. You are all part of this incredible contribution and are helping bring joy to an amazing charity. Your generosity is going directly towards this vital build, and with this donation supporting the second Daisy Lodge in Co. Mayo, will be able to increase the number of children and parents they support each year from 1,800 to 4,000. ❤️

The legacy of James McNeive lives on as Mayo Mindspace charity has named its family room the "James McNeive Foundation Room" in his honour at their facility in Castlebar.

A very special moment 💜
Presenting a cheque for €20,000 to in The James McNeive Room.

Last week, we had the pleasure of presenting the cheque to Peadar and Amparo from Mind Space Mayo. Mind Space Mayo is a free and confidential service that provides mental health support and guidance for young people aged 12–25 in County Mayo, offering a safe space to talk about issues such as stress, anxiety, and grief.

We were delighted to have Bernadette, Michael, Matthew, Enda, Ross, Marina, and Conor join us to present the cheque to Peadar and Amparo. 🫶
