Good evening Ladies. Well, what a wonderful morning we had! Thank you Majella and Stephanie for all your work organising such an enjoyable and interesting local field trip. Who knew the Library had so much to offer? It is a beautiful building, so well designed and with so much local history attached to it. So many modern facilities avaiable to all of us, it's well worth signing up to it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable. They supplied the tea and coffee to go with our sandwiches which were supplied by McAuley Place. Stephanie was our tour guide for the History of St. David's. Her love of her Church shone through and that made her telling of the history so interesting and personal. Thank you all for attending and for being such a great group. There was a very happy feeling in the room. Next outing August 12th - De Burghs Estate and gardens followed by afternoon tea in Mc Auley Place...see you there!

Summer time means BBQ time! We may not have the best summer weather this year but the ladies of Naas Women's Shed wouldn't let that ruin the party! And what a party it was. Great music from DJ John Dooley, great food from Lawlors Hotel and, most importantly, great company! We even had some Turkish ladies drop in and give us a display of their traditional dancing.

Members of the Athgarvan Women's Shed gave huge thanks to Marianne, from the Naas Women's Shed, who visited to give a very engaging talk on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). An enjoyable Monday evening had by all.
