INFORMATION FOR PARENTS 🕺

A big welcome to all our new children and parents joining us this term! We can’t wait to meet you 😊

Our discos are for 4th, 5th & 6th class primary school children and are organised by the Blessington St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee to help raise funds for the parade.

🛡️ SAFETY FIRST
• All our stewards, including our DJ Joey, are Garda vetted and are parents themselves.
• Stewards work in pairs and are positioned throughout the hall, including the entrance and toilets.
• A maximum of 5 children in the toilets at one time. No food or drinks in the toilets.
• We cannot take responsibility for personal belongings, so please avoid sending valuables. Chairs around the hall can be used for coats/bags.
• Children are welcome to use a steward’s phone if they need to contact home.

We ask that children do not bring mobile phones. This is to prevent children taking photos/videos of other children and posting them on social media without permissi

The Blessington St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is looking for volunteers to help run our Primary School Discos in St. Joseph’s Hall during the school term.

✨ Just 3 hours of your time
✨ Full training provided
✨ Garda Vetting required (paid for by us)
✨ A great way to make new friends and get involved in your local community
✨ No experience necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to help!

Our discos are a fantastic night for local children, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers.
