CCE Barr na Sraide

CCE Barr na Sraide CCE Barr na Sráide originated from the Cahersiveen Comhaltas Branch which was formed over 40 years ago. There are new accordion classes with Conor Morierty.

The branch represents 8 parishes in the Iveragh Peninsula ranging from Cahersiveen to Valentia Island. We have 100 children learning music at the moment on thursday night along with singing classes and our newly formed set dancing classes with Adrian Moriarty. The branch takes part in sessions, concerts, wren day and the fleadh competitions. We are in a very rural part of the country so our role is also to bring the community together by organising events.
