We are delighted to host a very special talk by Garry Cotter, the Editor of the Nenagh Guardian on Wednesday evening at 7pm.
A much loved and important local newspaper, Garry will speak about the role the newspaper plays and the challenges it faces to remain relevant to its readers.
Founded in 1838 by the Kempston Family, the Nenagh Guardian is one of the oldest surviving local newspapers in Ireland and the title incorporates two previous local papers, the Tipperary Vindicator and the Nenagh News.
Entry is free. All welcome.

On Friday 22nd May at 6.30pm, The Thomas MacDonagh Museum, Cloughjordan, is delighted to host the première of ‘Journey Through Glass: Discovering the Genius of Harry Clarke’, a new Film Documentary Presented by Tony Walsh and written by Lucy Costigan and Tony Walsh.
In the summer of 2018, Tony Walsh embarked on a road trip, spending two weeks traveling to various locations in Ireland, exploring the incredible stained-glass windows of Irishman, Harry Clarke. Clarke is world renowned for his originality and his unique use of colour. There was one window that had inspired Tony to set out on this trip. Tony revisits this window at the end of his journey, where its location is finally revealed.
