Our own clubman, Cillian O'Connor, has called an end to his intercounty career with Mayo GAA.

A true legend of the county for all he's achieved, and for the impact he's had both on and off the pitch during his playing time. We're immensely proud of Cillian, and the way in which he's represented Ballintubber GAA on the county stage since a young age.

A great ambassador for the sport, a credit to himself, and a role model to many.

All in Ballintubber GAA Club wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Tuohy family on the sad passing of your beloved Seamus. Our deepest sympathies go to his wife Marie, his daughter Shona, his son Evan, his grandchildren, his siblings Tommie, Mary, Claire, Helen & Brid and all the extended family on your immeasurable loss.
Our sympathies also to all his colleagues in the HSE, to his neighbours & friends in Breaffy GAA Club, to his fellow officers and friends in Mayo Co Board and indeed to the wider GAA fraternity right across the county & beyond.
In Ballintubber GAA Club we always found Seamus to be a man of the highest integrity, a gentleman, so honest & sincere and a man who was always there to give advice and direction.
He was a wonderful leader and it was so fitting that he was at the helm as our county created history when we achieved that ultimate accolade a few weeks ago.
