Hi everyone,

Apologies for using the Tractor Run page for this — it’s not something I normally do, but it’s too important to stay quiet on.

There is a vote of no confidence coming up, and I’m asking everyone to take a few minutes to email or contact your local TDs and tell them to support it. People are being pushed too far with the cost of living, and it’s clear things aren’t good enough.

We’ve all seen the pressure families, farmers, and working people are under — enough is enough.

If this doesn’t bring change, then don’t be surprised if we’re back out protesting again.

🚜✨ THANK YOU EVERYONE ✨🚜

Now that the tractor run is over and done with, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fantastic success.

👏 Thank you to everyone who decorated tractors and took part — the effort and creativity on display was unreal.
👀 Thank you to everyone who came out to watch and support along the route.
💰 Thank you to everyone who donated so generously — every euro is greatly appreciated.

🏪 A huge thank you to all our local businesses who supported us and donated spot prizes — your backing made a big difference.

🚧🍔📋 The biggest thanks of all goes to our stewards, to everyone who rowed in behind us to help keep things safe and running smoothly, and to everyone who helped with food and registration throughout the day. And a special thanks to the videographer. Your help, time, and effort did not go unnoticed.

From start to finish, the support was unbelievable — thank you all for making it such a great day 🚜✨

🎄🚜 Today’s the day – Light The Way 🚜🎄

It’s a bit blustery and wintery out there this morning, but don’t worry — the forecast is looking good and shaping up to clear into a nice evening ✨

We’ll be lighting up the roads tonight as the Light The Way Christmas Tractor Run rolls through our villages, bringing plenty of festive cheer along with it.

⏰ Registration from 4:30pm
🚜 Kick-off at 6:00pm

If you’re at a loose end for half an hour, wrap up warm and come out to enjoy the lights, the atmosphere and a great community event — all in aid of Sláinte an Chláir and Pieta House ❤️

The wait is nearly over — Light The Way takes off this Saturday, 20th December 🎄

Registration from 4:30pm
Kick-off at 6:00pm sharp

Get down early and soak up the atmosphere — there’ll be tea, coffee, sandwiches and sweet treats while you wait ☕🍰

Before we roll, we’ll be choosing the best lit-up vehicles, so have those lights shining bright ✨

To every driver, organiser and helper — thank you. You’re not just lighting up tractors and trucks, you’re lighting up villages, spreading Christmas cheer, and supporting Sláinte an Chláir and Pieta House ❤️

Let’s line up, light up, roll out — and make this a night people won’t forget 🚜🎄✨
