💚 WHAT A WEEK FOR FEED KILDARE! 💚

A huge THANK YOU to each and every person who helped make Feed Kildare happen this week.

To everyone who collected food throughout the week, those who gave their time on Tuesday night to get everything set up, and all of our incredible volunteers who came along yesterday, we are so incredibly grateful. 🙏

Every donation. Every food collection. Every box carried. Every bag packed. Every hour volunteered. Every helping hand.

It all made a difference.

And yesterday, together, we distributed food to 306 people. 🥹❤️

306 people who received food and support because our community came together with generosity, kindness and a shared desire to help.

We genuinely couldn’t do this without you. What we achieved together this week is something we call all be incredibly proud of.

To our volunteers, donors, food collectors, organisers and everyone who played a part, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. 💚

This is what community looks like. 🙌

Last week was a really special moment for us as we officially launched Feed Kildare! 💚

After months of planning, preparation, conversations, training and the incredible generosity of so many people, it was amazing to finally gather together and celebrate what has been built.

At the heart of Feed Kildare is a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, especially when life gets difficult.

Food insecurity can affect anyone. There are individuals and families in our community who are working, paying bills and doing everything they can, but still finding it difficult to make ends meet.

Feed Kildare exists to come alongside people during those seasons, providing access to food and essential groceries in a welcoming, respectful environment where people have choice and never need to feel embarrassed or judged for asking for support.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our opening night, including representatives from local organisations, community groups and public representatives, and to every volunteer, business, organisation and individual who has helped make Feed Kildare possible. We couldn’t do this without you.

And now, we’re officially open! 🎉
