We in Aontú have tabled a bill to withdraw Ireland from the EU Migration and Asylum Pact.

The Bill's Office has deemed it "in order" for introduction to the Dáil.

The Pact hands Irish sovereignty over our borders to Brussels.

We will do everything in our power to protect the sovereignty our forefathers fought and died for.

Government seeking to dismantle The Triple Lock while the EU is ramping up militarily and slashing agri budgets.

Rising costs are halting building projects in Mayo.

50 house construction projects are currently on hold in the Westport area alone (this is happening right across the county).

Research I've conducted shows:

- €3.3 billion last year alone (the highest on record).

- €21 billion collected in VAT on construction materials & services over the past decade.

Government taxation and inaction are a barrier to housing delivery.

Not building homes during a housing crisis is akin to exporting corn during a famine.

We need a zero rate of VAT on construction. It is time to treat this as the emergency.

I will be raising this again with Government ahead of Budget 2027.

I very much welcome the decision by City Link to include Breaffy and Straide on their Ballina to Galway route. This is something I have long campaigned for. Delighted to reveal that Breaffy will be added to the bus route from Monday next, and that Straide will be added from the 7th December. 👏

Postponing a bad decision does not make it a good one.

Locking taxpayers into fuel tax hikes multiple times a year is bad policy.

Taxation increases that ignore the price of oil, inflation, and the cost of living people are facing simply aren't sustainable.

We've been campaigning on this for a long time — the fact the Dáil had to be recalled says it all.

Patients on trolleys and chairs for 24+ hours.

No dignity, no privacy — corridors turned into wards.

Staff doing their best in impossible conditions.

This is what I witnessed tonight in MUH.

I will be raising this with the Minister for Health and HSE.

⭐ Good news!! ⭐ The HSE have approved the reimbursement of Skyclarys for people with Friedreich's Ataxia. A fierce battle by campaigners and patients for this day - we now need a speedy rollout of the treatment for all patients. For these people time lost is ability lost - there must be no delay!
