We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone for another successful year of the Carracastle Vintage Run.
A huge thank you goes to all the drivers who took part in the vintage run. Your support is what makes this event possible.
Thank you to everyone who came along to support the event, bought raffle tickets, bid in the auction and helped make the day such a success.
We are incredibly grateful to all the individuals and businesses who generously contributed prizes for our raffle and auction.
We are also so grateful to the individuals and businesses who made generous donations towards our two worthy causes.
A special thank you to our auctioneer, Ted Dooney, for doing a fantastic job throughout the auction.
A sincere thank you to Michael & Claire Coleman for kindly allowing us the use of their field for the day and the time spent getting it prepped.
To all our volunteers – thank you for giving your time to help with stewarding, selling tickets and all the jobs behind the scenes getting ready for the day.
A word of thanks to all the businesses that kindly allowed us to leave raffle tickets at their premises for sale, and to every venue, event and organisation that welcomed us with a stand to sell tickets in the lead-up to the draw. Your support and cooperation played a huge part in the success of our raffle, and we are truly grateful.
We would also like to sincerely thank An Garda Síochána for their attendance and assistance on the day. Their support in helping to ensure the safety of all our participants, volunteers and spectators was greatly appreciated.
We would also like to extend our thanks to our media crew Joe Dooney, Damien King, and N5 Truck Photos who did a fantastic job capturing the day through photographs, videos and live streaming.
Finally, thank you to everyone who supported the Carracastle Tractor Run in any way. Whether you attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored or entered the vintage run, your contribution was appreciated.
Every euro raised will go to two wonderful causes – Croí Heart & Stroke Charity and Scoil Íosa National School.
The Family Fun Day was enjoyed by young and old alike, with the bouncy castle, ice cream van, delicious food by Pig & Heifer, face painting, Kiltimagh Pet Farm, fire engine, stalls and all the favourite characters.
From all of us on the organising committee, thank you once again for making this year’s Carracastle Tractor Run such a memorable and successful community event. We look forward to seeing you all again next year! 🚜💚
