Over the next few days, our Branch will be selling shamrock for St. Patrick's Day. Presented in a beautiful skillet, perfect if you wanted to give it to someone as a present.

We had a special guest at the weekend visit our Branch. All the kids were on the good list, met Santa, got a present and were delighted with the surprise. Food and music with lots of dancing made this a great afternoon. This was our last outing for the year. We would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas from everyone at Laois Down Syndrome.

Our members were out on a cold Sunday to help with the Abbeyleix House and Farm event yesterday. A massive thank to everyone that helped at the various parking spots. Thanks to those who donated to Laois Down Syndrome on the day.

A big thank you to everyone in St. Lazarians Camogie Abbeyleix ABBEYLEIX GAA for the very generous donation to our branch. It was a pleasure to be apart of such a fun night and to see such fantastic support. Thank you all.

We were delighted to present Mark McManus (Chairperson Laois Down Syndrome) and Natalie Harrison (Laois Down Syndrome and Abbeyleix GAA fundraising committee) pictured with Niall Ryan & Evelyn Dunne with a cheque from our Cookery Demo evening.

Thank you all for the continued support - this small contribution will go a long way to fund much need rebated therapies such as Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language & Reflexology and social activities for their amazing members. It was lovely to meet with you all.

At our 30th celebrations recently, the Committee from the Borris In Ossory Tractor Run joined us making a very generous cheque presentation on the night. On the night, their Committee confirmed the 6th of September is booked in for 2026, with our Branch confirmed as the chosen Charity. Thank you from everyone at Laois Down Syndrome.
